I am ALSO great at painting. Not like Kahlo shit but like actually physically painting a house’s interior.

Hello, Internet!
I’m realizing that I’ve a complete lack of life skills. Oh, sure, I can navigate my way around a nice one thousand piece picture puzzle of Croatia and you’d be hard-pressed to find someone else who can reread Anne of Green Gables as many times as me (hint: your best bet in this particular case would be my sister), but basic livingness is sub-par.
GOAL: To be...

REVIEW: The Dirty Diamonds - Monster Ballads
One of the quickest ways to my heart is a plateful of really top-notch carne asada fries. A slightly slower way is to use the word “ballad” in conjunction with just about anything. It’s a throwback to a simpler time and always makes me want to be a minstrel. Oh, my heartstrings.
I discovered The Dirty Diamonds a few months ago, who knows how many? The point is that I got...
I’m trying to stalk someone, and it’s going terribly.
Ugh. Kind of in a grump about it.
I think I am going to change the title of the blog. Do you have suggestions, Internet?
Haha just kidding, you’re not sentient! Yet!
Sometimes I’m pretty sure you are.
No wonder The Matrix scares the shit out of everyone.
Sorry this post sucks. I’m really full from...

MUSINGS
How do cars get towed? I need to find out the mechanism. Make a note of it. This is it.
I spent today working on a really just enormous order for a school. It was tons of little “Golden Guide” books with general information on just about anything science-y, such as Poisonous Animals, Birds of North America, Wildflowers, & Spiders and Their Kin. You know the type.
It made me...

It’s been a little while, blog! I’m sorry. Here I am, here!
You know you haven’t been keeping up with the world when you try and Google “sciene” instead of science. Ugh. Pay attention, Past Margaret!
Today, I was sitting in my room being extremely productive—cleaning, working on a couple of different research projects, and putting into place an elaborate...

I’m currently in the middle of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by author Rebecca Skloot (it’s a good name, right?) a completely enthralling and eminently readable investigation into the life of the woman behind HeLa cells, cells that have been used for research in every field imaginable. I’ve been in the middle of it for a few weeks, actually, but got distracted but some...
In which I realize how much I talk about Facebook...
I sound pretty lame, don’t I? Sorry, Internet. The next post will be a doozy. Or the one after if I’m not in the mood. But really, only 4 posts & 2 of them discuss Facebook at length? Work on this, Future Me. You’re fucking great and I don’t get why you’re downplaying your intelligence with all this in-depth analysis of the FB.
Love,
Margaret

I’ve been off of Facebook for the past 3 days now.
Day 1, known to you plebes as Friday, began with me thinking: “Huh. I wonder if I can go the day without logging onto Facebook.” About midday, my mind was something like this: “I wonder if anything good has been posted on Faceboooo-fuck.” (Yes, the extra oo’s made it into my mind.) As I lay myself to...

In which I struggle with a stultifying decision.
I have spent the past few minutes editing & re-editing my website information on Facebook. I’m wobbling! Do I want to make this website available to the hordes of people out there aching for a stalk of my heart? (Mixed metaphors, mixed vegetables. I apologize.)
PROS OF PUBLICITY:
Comments! Possibly even positive ones! And I’d benefit from criticism.
If I leave this private...

In which I introduce myself.
Dear Internet,
Hello!
My name is Margaret.
In third grade, my class drew pictures of what they wanted to be when they grew up. Firemen, doctors, and lawyers all. I never knew, Internet. We were given a sheet of paper with an empty box above some questions. I just colored in the box with a picture of a rainbow.
Here I am, twelve years later (oh no, twelve years? is that even possible?) and...
